Bobcat Robotics, #177, is a high school robotics team in South Windsor, CT competing in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition. The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to become leaders in the fields of science and technology. FIRST accomplishes this goal through programs that build knowledge, life skills, and self-confidence. Young people get a unique opportunity to work with professionals in the fields of science and technology by tackling a common problem. The young people gain hands on experience balancing budget, schedule and technical challenges.

Our Mission:

The mission of the Bobcat Robotics team is to inspire students in engineering, science and technology fields and to share business and media principles through a partnership with professionals, mentors and teachers. This is achieved by providing team members with a fun experience and one that will allow them to excel in any career they choose to pursue.
